Canyoning is people walking down a river and jumping off of stones going down slides and sometimes climbing down the rocks.
Canyoning is quite famous in France because there are a lot of mountains, rivers and    rocks, the best spots are :

 -Canyon de Cluses    -Canyon du Loup
 -Canyon de Ecouges   -Canyon du Riolan

This is a fun and fantastic canyoning circuit.

Canyoning is a family fun activity,you have to
 book it in advance and it's only in the summer (obviously).
In the Languedoc-Rousillon there are a lot of canyoning spots like :
-Gorges de Galamus,
-Ceret,
-Llech,
-Taurinya.

This a picture lot of people having fun going down a slide, with loads of water, cold water. They slide rocks that are very slipery so you can't stand up on them
